How my journey began
Sabato Gaetano traces his family roots back to the Amalfi Coast of Italy. His grandparents arrived in the early 1900’s, leaving their villages, seeking a better life for their families. He currently resides in New York City where he and his wife have successfully raised and educated their three, now adult children. Known for his story telling ability and enthusiasm for life, Sabato started writing at the age of forty and continues to research tiny bits of information, knitting his findings into threads, forming a fabric of thought-provoking imagery.
His passions include food, wine and salt water fishing in the Florida Keys. His belief in god is unshakable as is his generosity to those in need. He’s a terrible golfer.
E’ Impossibile was his first novel and was written in 2006. The author decided not to publish in 2008, when it was completed, due to the pain and suffering still fresh in the souls of victims of organized pedophile terrorism.
In 2010 Sabato wrote, “Nation Within A Nation”. Unrelated news articles on America’s casino epidemic led Sabato to question the nation’s sudden addiction to gambling. Were the American Indian nations benefiting from the thriving, $40,000,000,000 industry or were they once again pawns on the reservation? You decide.
